The art of glass, through my eyes, is the art of capturing the effects of movement, gravity and the use of sculpting tools in a collaborative dance with heat; the results are frozen in time, encapsulated in the glass. Art is an ever evolving form of personal expression, bringing a unique quality to each piece.
I have studied at Urban Glass in Brooklyn New York with well known glass artists, Robert Michelson and Diana Huellet. I have had lessons with Sally Prasch in Massachusetts. These experiences, along with my travels through life and the love for my family are my inspirations and building blocks as an artist.
I create my art in a studio at our home. My wife Susan, daughter Alexandra and I live in Sperryville Virginia, where we own and operate Full Moon Farm, a certified organic farm.
